Following a period of engineering preparation and finalization of the project, a decision was made to expand the Kaufland distribution centre in Olomouc. This investment is one of the few current investments into warehouse and logistics facilities because this construction segment is the one suffering the strongest slump in the time of the financial crisis. We are therefore glad that the budget calculation based on our design was acceptable and that thanks to our proposals the project was assessed as feasible. Together with the extended warehouse premises at one end of the current facility, a new freezer hall connected with meat processing operations will be built on the opposite side. Work is scheduled for completion by 15 December 2009.
